Mind in Motion and Psychēra Sessions are designed to give our body and mind a chance to slow down, regulate and reset, supporting a return to a more balanced state.

    Psychera Programme | Self-Awareness & Understanding

    1:1 Psychera is a guided programme using the Mind Psychologist Model, designed to support deeper awareness and understanding of the self.

    The programme is centred around the Psychera book, which provides the framework for reflection, journalling, and exploration between sessions. Together, the book and sessions create space to development an awareness and understanding of self.

    When we take time to understand ourselves during the steadier moments of life, we build the knowledge and awareness that support us when challenges inevitably arise. When the storms come , as they do for all of us, we are better able to recognise what is happening within us. With greater awareness and clarity, we can respond rather than react.

    The Psychera book is available to purchase and can be used independently for personal reflection and private exploration. Some individuals choose to work through the material on their own, while others value the opportunity to explore the ideas more deeply through guided sessions.

    Both approaches honour the same intention

    The first session is better placed around 2 hours or a luxury -3 hour deep dive, followed by sessions in person or online thereafter.

    Throughout the programme we explore the many aspects of being human , why we choose, act, respond, fear, rejoice, feel deeply, or sometimes feel disconnected. Through reflection and enquiry, we begin to recognise the internal processes that influence our experiences, behaviours, and decisions.

    The aim of Psychera is to support the development of awareness and understanding of self.

  • Tara Dakin is a Wellness Expert and Registered Developmental Psychologist specialising in mind and body regulation. She is also a massage and movement therapist, Pilates instructor, Reiki practitioner, and qualified teacher.

    The Regulation Massage

    £65 for 60 minutes

    A restorative bodywork session designed to support nervous system regulation and the gentle release of physical tension.

    Modern life often asks a great deal of our bodies. Stress, emotion, and the pace of everyday living can accumulate within our muscles and nervous system, leaving us feeling tight, fatigued, or disconnected from ourselves.

    A Regulation Massage offers a calm and supportive space to slow down and allow the body to soften.

    Using gentle therapeutic massage techniques, the session focuses on areas where tension commonly gathers, including the back, shoulders, head, neck and hips. The intention is not only physical relief, but also to support the body’s natural ability to regulate, restore and rebalance.

    Sessions are tailored to each individual and may include simple breath awareness, grounding, or gentle movement to help the nervous system settle more deeply.

    This is a restorative treatment designed to support physical ease, relaxation and a return to a more regulated state.

    Sessions are fully clothed or partially clothed, seated or lying.

  • Recognising that many people seek support only at the point of overwhelm, Tara’ Dakin's Wellness work aims to shift this pattern, helping individuals engage in earlier intervention, self-regulation, and sustainable wellbeing.

    An offering of two deeper sessions bringing together massage , restorative bodywork, nervous system and emotional awareness, gentle movement and gentle enquiry of the mind–body connection.

    Tension is not only physical. Our thoughts, emotions and life experiences can also become held within our body. Over time, this can shape how we move, breathe and experience ourselves.

    Massage with ‘psychera‘ creates space to notice these patterns through the body.

    As the body softens, individuals often begin to notice subtle shifts in their internal state. This session supports a deeper awareness of how the mind and body communicate with one another., somatically

    The intention is to support nervous system regulation while helping you reconnect with your body’s signals and develop simple ways to continue releasing tension in our everyday life.

    Each person receives their copy of the Psychera Book and we start by mapping out and exploring our life story, to date.

    We consider our nervous systems, our emotional regulation and other interesting and thought provoking psychological factors to the self.

    We do some gentle painting whilst we reflect and discuss.

    Its a enriching and enjoyable offering of self exploration, psychology and art.

  • Mind in Motion MiM

    Price: £10

    MiM – Mind in Motion (1-Hour Weekly Class)
    Step into a weekly journey of self-discovery, held in inspiring locations, to enrich both the mind and body .

    Each session is designed as a flowing experience to deepen self-awareness and support wellbeing.

    We begin by exploring the self through psychological insight, learning about patterns, choices, and energies that shape our experience. From our understanding, we move onto the mat for gentle, and intentional stretches and mindful movement, releasing tension, supporting energy flow, and reconnecting with the body. (interception)

    The class concludes with guided meditation, helping the mind settle, integrate what has arisen, and cultivate presence and inner calm.

    MiM is knowledge, movement and meditation. Glorious!
